In response to customer feedback, Molnlycke Health Care is pleased to announce the removal of Sodium Laurel Sulfate (SLS) from the Epaderm Product Range. All Epaderm Product Range are SLS free. The only noticeable difference is that in the absence of SLS the Epaderm may appear more firm in consistency.
Epaderm Cream has been developed by dermatologists specifically for patients with dry skin. It was first developed and used by the Dermatology Department at the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. In a personal communication from one of the Consultant Dermatologists based within the Department, it states that"(Epaderm Ointment) very rarely indeed produces any adverse allergic or other reactions".
Epaderm Cream is a 2-in-1 emollient and skin cleanser for all dry skin conditions including eczema & psoriasis. It is formulated with clinically proven ingredients that help moisturise and soften the skin. It provides all of the moisturising and protective benefits of paraffin-based emollients. Its lighter consistency makes it more cosmetically appealing and suitable for daytime application. It is especially effective if applied immediately after washing to counteract the loss of essential oils from the skin.
- suitable for all ages, including babies
- it is unlikely to cause skin sensitisation
- it contains no fragrances, colourings or additives
- the pump pack is easy to use and reduces the risk of cross contamination

After struggling with a bad flare up for a few months now I decided to go back to basics and stop spending money on overpriced products. I use the ointment as a cleanser and then the cream straight after. In just 24hrs my skin has improved so much - I kind of cant believe it.

We love this cream. We keep several big bottles around the house for morning and post bath moisturises and a small one goes on the road and to day care. It is keeping the eczema away. Even though it is winter his skin is still smooth. The smell is really pleasant, not at all over powering.

I find this cream really helps hydrate my skin when it's very dry. I can use it when my ezcema has flared up and it's very soothing - doesn't sting at all. It's not too greasy either so it's great to use daily.

We use the epaderm cream for our teenage sons eczema. We have used for past 18 months and is the best product with best results. His skin is smooth and less red when applied regularly. And as a fussy teen he says the cream consistency is good and doesn’t make him feel sticky. We recently purchased two 50ml size for him to take on his exchange to Germany. Epaderm is delivered quick and easy from the Allergy Shop.

I use this cream in the morning and the ointment at night, and they are the best thing to happen to my skin, ever. They provide a barrier, they don't sting, and my eczema has improved/gone beyond what I thought was possible without steroids.

My baby has really dry skin, and after trying with baby oil, coconut and olive oils and baby moisturisers this cream is the only thing that's worked! Really easy to apply, not sticky, just the best thing out there. I started using it on some eczema on her face, which dissappeared only a couple of days after applying, and now after baths. Really the bee's knees!

Our 4yo daughter was only diagnosed with eczema just a few short weeks ago. She only has it reasonably mild in comparison to others, but it nevertheless causes her red, itchy patches on her neck, shoulders and chest. We have been washing her in mild QV and also using a QV moisturiser. Whilst the QV has been ok, it doesn't even come close to how fantastic EpaDerm is! I bought it after my sister-in-law recommending it to us as she swears by it for her kids who suffer from it, and due to a dermatologist recommending it to her initially. I ordered the 500g bottle for home use, plus two of the small bottles - one for her Kindy bag and one to keep in my handbag. Within just a couple of hours of applying it to all her red, patchy areas - it disappeared! There was no irritation or discomfort for our daughter - she actually smiled widely as I applied it. It's fantastic and best of all, not oily, greasy or just otherwise ick. It rubs in beautifully. We have definitely been convinced and converted to EpaDerm because for us it absolutely works.

Fantastic moisturiser to use on our bub who has eczema. This is the only one that doesn't irritate her at all.

Pump pack!!!! Great cream that is not too light weight and moisturises well. I use this during the day and my child appears to be benefiting from its application
