How to store Epipen:

EpiPen and EpiPen Jr® (epinephrine) Auto-Injectors should be stored at a temperature of 25ºC; however, temperature excursions between 15ºC and 30ºC are permitted.

- EpiPen and EpiPen Jr Auto-Injectors should not be stored in refrigerators or in a vehicle’s glove box.

- EpiPen Auto-Injectors should not be exposed to extreme heat or cold and protect from light.

How to store Asthma Inhaler:

Keep the inhaler away from extremes of heat and cold. The glove box of your car might seem like a handy place to store an inhaler, but the extreme heat and cold the inhaler will be exposed to in your car can change the composition of the medication and render it ineffective. For example, the patient information sheet for one form of albuterol, brand name Proventil, cautions that at temperatures above 48ºC degrees the inhaler could burst. The manufacturers of Proventil recommend storing it at temperatures between 15ºC and 25ºC, and this is a good range to keep in mind for all inhalers.

  1. wonderful product 4 Star Review

Posted by on 27th Aug 2020

I love this product, it fits everything in. My little girl has anaphylaxis and asthma, so we put in 2 epipens, ventolin puffer and a spacer as well as her antihistamine tabs. There is a front window where we put her action plan and a photo. She’s in prep and the teachers all know who the bag belongs to. The only downfall of this product is the zipper. It breaks quite quickly... so every 6 months we need to buy her another bag. But it’s the best one I’ve found for her ...... so I keep getting it.

  2. QUALITY 5 Star Review

Purchased this item in hope that it would suit my need for carrying Bydureon Pen for diabetes. Intended use is for long distance travel and need to keep item cold for a lengthy period of time. Very pleased with quality and will work well, feel secure in protection of items and safe storage, now need to sort insulation item to keep this cool. Thank you so much.
